pOSITION oVERVIEW:
A Property Maintenance Technician performs service work for commercial tenants, including daily maintenance activities and new installation. Our technicians are assigned a primary list of buildings for which they will be responsible, including being a primary contact person, performing inspections of the properties, and correcting issues identified through the inspections. Additional work tasks are assigned as needed or on an emergency basis. This position is a five-day-a-week job with a normal start time of 7:00AM and an end time of 3:30PM each day. Some overtime may be offered. A Property Maintenance Technician is assigned an on-call rotation that includes after-hours and weekend work. The Property Maintenance Technician will work out of a company-provided vehicle.
PERFORMING COMMERCIAL MAINTENANCE:
A technician should have 3-5 years of commercial construction experience. They need to understand and have proficiencies in many areas of construction. These include:
- Carpentry Both Rough and Finished (Required)
- Drywall Repair (Required)
- Painting (Required)
- Concrete Placement and Finishing (Required)
- Understanding of Doors and Door Hardware (Required)
- Evaluate Issue for Client and Fix or Know Who to Call (Required)
- Minor Electrical (Nice to Have)
- Minor Plumbing (Nice to Have)
- Minor HVAC (Nice to Have)
- Minor Fire Alarm and Sprinkler System Installation (Nice to Have)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Three to five years of hands-on field experience in the commercial building construction and or commercial building maintenance industry.
