YORK, PA (23 April 2021) – York-based commercial real estate developer Kinsley Properties has delivered the third and final phase of development on its luxury apartment community in Mechanicsburg, Union Flats.

The last phase of the Union Flats development in Cumberland County includes 144 apartment units across six new buildings. Now completed, the multifamily complex has 15 three-story apartment buildings with a total of 360 one- and two-bedroom units.

“We are thrilled to be delivering the final piece of the Union Flats development and providing new luxury housing options to meet the growing apartment demands on the West Shore,” said Timothy Kinsley, President of Kinsley Properties. “We are committed to delivering a residential community that exceeds the quality of residential units and amenities in the market.”

Conveniently located near Interstates 81 and 83, Union Flats is at the center of Cumberland County and just a short drive from Harrisburg and the county seat in Carlisle. Leasing activity has been strong since the first phase opened in 2017. The multifamily complex has remained near full occupancy since its inception and leasing interest remains extremely high in phase three.

The apartments at Union Flats feature a modern design with 9-foot ceilings, upgraded flooring, granite countertops, kitchen island/breakfast bar, glass-top cooking range and Energy Star® stainless steel appliances. The bedrooms have large walk-in closets and wall-to-wall carpeting, and each unit has a full-size washer and dryer.

The community has an on-site clubhouse with a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga/cardio studio, billiards room and a full-service business center. Outdoor amenities at Union Flats include a resort-style saltwater swimming pool, picnic and grilling areas, outdoor fire pit, playground and a dog park.

Kinsley Properties hired Kinsley Construction and Warehaus Design to support development of Union Flats.
